Refund Policy

Last updated:

Liber Premium is not on sale yet. Liber is currently free to use and there is no way to purchase a subscription, so nothing can be charged and there is nothing to refund. The policy below describes the terms that will apply once Premium launches. We publish it in advance so you know what you are signing up for.

1. General Refund Policy & Free Trial

When Premium launches, it will include a 7-day free trial of Liber Premium so you can thoroughly evaluate the software, its features, and its compatibility with your devices. Because you will have ample opportunity to test the service before any charge occurs, we will not offer "change of mind" refunds once a payment has been processed, except where required by applicable consumer law.

2. Statutory Right of Withdrawal (EU, UK & EEA Consumers)

Under EU, EEA, and UK consumer protection laws, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital service or subscription contract within 14 days of your initial purchase or subscription sign-up without giving any reason.

Exercising Your Right: If you are based in the EU, EEA, or UK, contact support@tryliber.com or Paddle Buyer Support within 14 days of your initial subscription sign-up (the first day of your free trial). We will process your refund in full. This right of withdrawal applies only to your initial sign-up, not to subsequent automatic renewals.

3. Subscriptions and Renewals

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually). Cancellation stops future charges. You can cancel at any time: Settings → Premium in the app opens your subscription page with our payment provider, which is where the cancellation is made. You can also ask us at the address below. If you cancel, you will retain access to Premium features until the end of your current paid billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months or years, except where required by applicable law. Renewal charges are non-refundable once processed, except where required by applicable law.

4. Legal Guarantee of Conformity

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights. Under EU Directive 2019/770 and the Spanish TRLGDCU (as well as the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015), we are liable for any lack of conformity in the digital content or service that becomes apparent during your subscription. If Liber is fundamentally defective, inaccessible, or fails to conform to its description, and we are unable to fix it within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a proportionate price reduction or a full refund.

5. Payment Processor Returns

Payments are securely processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all transactions, tax compliance, and refunds in accordance with this policy. For payment-specific inquiries, you can also contact Paddle Buyer Support.

6. Contact Us & Billing Errors

If you believe you have been charged in error, or if you were charged multiple times for the same subscription due to a technical error, contact us and we will investigate and issue any refund required. If you are experiencing severe technical issues that prevent you from using the service, please contact us immediately at support@tryliber.com. We review exceptional refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
